Welcome to Kids Rock! Pediatric Dentistry

Our goal is to give you and your children a great dental experience. We tailor our approach to dentistry specifically with children in mind and treat them as individuals. In our rock ‘n roll dinosaur themed office they will learn how to keep a healthy smile for the rest of their lives. Dr. Kitley and his staff will inform you of the best cavity prevention practices and always give you options if treatment is needed.

Parents are welcome to be present during their children’s appointments because we view ourselves as partners with you in achieving the best oral health. We are thrilled to serve the children of the Western Suburbs of Chicago and are conveniently located just minutes from Clarendon Hills, Hinsdale, Downers Grove, Oak Brook, Willowbrook, Darien, Lisle, Lombard, Elmhurst, Burr Ridge and surrounding communities.

Board Certified Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Kitley is a board certified pediatric specialist who loves his work! He grew up in Battle Creek, Michigan and attended Michigan State and Brigham Young University, graduating with a degree in Italian. He received his dental degree from the University of Pittsburgh followed by a two year specialty residency at one of the best pediatric hospitals in the country, Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Dr. Kitley’s status as Diplomate and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry is indicative of his ongoing commitment to excellence in the treatment of children.

Dental Cleaning

A dental cleaning makes it possible to properly examine all the teeth. Plaque, tartar and staining are removed to reveal the bright teeth underneath.

Sealants

Sealants fill in the deep grooves and pits on the biting surfaces of teeth. This prevents tooth decay from forming in those areas.

Extractions

There are times when a tooth is too damaged or broken. Sometimes a child’s orthodontist recommends extractions to help align the teeth properly.

Pediatric Crowns

In cases where the tooth is too weakened by decay to be fixed with a filling, a crown may be needed. A crown can protect the tooth and hold it together. Crowns can also fix teeth that are broken.
